You can find our ticket sales people between the beer tent and the food tent, you can’t miss them. Please make sure you have bought your tickets by 3.30 pm to be included in the draw – only £1 and a book for £5.

Event Categories

Entry to the Open events at the Lochcarron Highland Games is available to all. Competitors take part at their own risk. Those entrants who have registered with the Scottish Games Association (SGA) for points etc are covered by that organisations separate cover.

The Hill Race has four categories: Open - 16 years or older, Veterans - 40 years or older, Ladies and Junior - under 16 years.Competitors must register for a single category and may win a prize in that category.

For reason of safety only 60 competitors will be allowed to register for the Hill Race.


Artist in Residence – Damian Callan
Damian Callan is a gurative painter based in Edinburgh. He teaches classes for adults and children at his studio near Haymarket. He is the author of Paint Like Degas and Paint Like Renoir. His work is exhibited widely in the UK and is held in collections across the world. He is particularly interested in the moving gure and in people in action and so is coming to spend the day the as the ‘artist in residence’ at the Lochcarron Highland Games: he will sketch, observe and photograph the various activities and events in order to develop ideas in to drawings and paintings to be displayed in the Lochcarron Gallery next year. www.damiancallan.com
