Athletics Registration

Sign up to an event at this years games.

Advance registration has now closed - but you can register on the day for all events. Whether you’re competing in traditional challenges, testing your endurance in the Hill Race, or running the relay, there’s something for everyone. Please ensure you arrive at the event 15-30 minutes early to complete the required safety declaration and confirm your participation. Online Entries will re-open for the summer 2026 games early in the New Year,

Whether you’re competing in traditional challenges, testing your endurance in the Hill Race, or the 200 metre race, there’s something for everyone. Please ensure you arrive at the event at 15-30 minutes early to complete any required paperwork and confirm your participation. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this iconic celebration of strength, skill, and Highland heritage! If you have any questions about the events, get in touch! PLEASE DO NOTE THAT YOU CAN REGISTER ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT - we ask you to read the rules for participants page, especially with regards to the RSHGA membership/day permit that is required for track and field events.  If you need to buy a day permit on arrival, please ensure you have £5 in cash for the payment.

Hill Race

The Lochcarron Hill Race is not an RSHGA event and as such is free of charge to enter. Please note that you do so entirely at your own risk.  Juniors aged 12 -15 years can run alone, however they will need a parent/guardian to co-sign their registration for the event 

 

PLEASE NOTE Young Runners under the age of 12 need their registration to be co-signed by a parent, and must be accompanied by an adult guardian AT ALL TIMES on the race route.  Under 12's cannot be on the hill route alone - the marshalls will be checking that this is being adhered to.
