TOBACCO POLICY FOR LOCHCARRON HIGHLAND GAMES

Lochcarron Highland Games is a family friendly event.  We welcome attendees to our event to have an enjoyable time.  The safety, health and wellbeing of attendees are paramount.

We do not sell tobacco products at our event and we do not promote the use of tobacco products at our event.

Our event is held outside.  There are several tents in use on the field in which No Smoking signs are displayed.

We have considered the risk of fire from discarded cigarettes.

At Lochcarron Highland Games we recognise that children and young people have a particular need for a smoke free environment and that all children should play, learn and socialise in places that are free from tobacco.  As our event is held outside, we believe that we provide that environment.

We recognise that there is further support available, offered by NHS Highland Health Improvement Team.
