Events like ours are 100% reliant on the volunteers we have - the very lifeblood of our community!

Can you help????

During set up week, and/or on the day itself, can you give us your time to get the jobs done? It's a lot of fun, we provide refreshments and you'll get the warm and fuzzy feeling of being part of this amazing day. In the last 15 years, we've raised and donated back to our community over £78,000 - and that's all down to the help we have to make it happen.

The more people we have involved, the easier it is for everyone.

The Lochcarron Highland Games is in its 45th year, and involves year-round planning and organisation from our small, but perfectly formed committee!

And then, in June & July, it all kicks off! We have supplies to organise, the field to layout, stallholders to manage, entertainment to book, transport, logistics and a huge amount of health and safety activity that involves liaison with many external agencies such as The Highland Council and the Police.

From Monday 14th July we'll be on the Games field at Attadale daily setting up.

Monday 2-4pm = upacking the sheds and bringing all the kit onto the field

Monday from 6pm- Marquee Time!! It's all hands on deck to get the main tents up

Tues - Thurs - afternoons and evenings laying out the track, heavies area, fencing and boundaries, additional tents, stalls and much much more!

On the day itself we have teams involved in:

*Parking and traffic management

*Gate and ticket sales

*Setting up the bar and food areas

*Registering event competitors

*Getting all our traders and exhibitors into place

*Running the Heavies, Track and Field and Hill Race Events

*Running our family entertainment area

*Marshalls for the field, bar area and hill race
